Tower Heist
Tower Heist is an action comedy film and first premiered on
November 4, 2011 in the United States and Spain on 9 December of the same year
in Mexico and Argentina on January 19,
2012 in. It stars Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy , and Tea Leoni and directed by
Brett Ratner.
The plot:
Josh Kovacs (Ben Stiller) is the manager of one of the most
luxurious and secure buildings in New York, in the Columbus Circle. In the most
conspicuous of all floor, attic, Arthur Shaw (Alan Alda) living, a billionaire
Wall Street mogul who is under house arrest for stealing two billion dollars of
investors, in addition to cheat many building workers, keeping their retirement
and leaving them facing an uncertain future.
Desperate to learn the situation, Kovacs joined his brother,
concierge Charlie (Casey Affleck), the bellhop Enrique (Michael Peña), the maid
Odessa (Gabourey Sidibe) and another investor ruined by the way of working of
Shaw Mr. Fitzhugh (Matthew Broderick), in order to find a way to recover their
money. Their search leads them to Slide (Eddie Murphy), a thief who helps
organize the theft of $ 20 million they believe billionaire hides in his
apartment.
They know perfectly the building, which will help them to
commit theft as quickly as possible, but have to be careful with the proximity
of Claire Denham (Téa Leoni), a special agent appointed to investigate the case
of Shaw and may be the only person to discover their intentions.

Critical reception:
According to the website Rotten Tomatoes it scored a 69%
positive feedback, leading to the following conclusion: "Tower Heist is a
true Brett Ratner film a bit complicated but fun and exciting adventure of
seeing and representing the welcome return of Eddie Murphy "Roger Ebert
wrote that" heist is not a great movie for a lot of reasons, starting with
the stupidity of the plan and the inability of these characters to succeed in
anything more complex than get in line .
